We make it a point to get to know all of our patients by name. When you walk in, you won’t get just some generic greeting that would apply to anyone. Rather, we’ll learn all we can about you from the start so we can better personalize your care and provide a better, more unique dental experience.

Dr. Gonzalez has even been known to take out his guitar and serenade our patients who need a little bit of extra help! In the end, we hope to change the way you think about visiting the dentist.

Dr. Gonzalez graduated cum laude with an associate's degree in science from Utah Valley State College and a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. Dr. Gonzalez then served a two-year ecclesiastical mission in San Jose, California before receiving his formal dental training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. While attending dental school, Dr. Gonzalez received many academic and clinical designations, including graduating with honors, making the Dean's List, and serving the underprivileged in south Texas and various Mexican border towns. Dr. Gonzalez is a certified Invisalign provider and regularly attends many hours of continuing dental education. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the San Antonio District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Born in Cedar City, Utah, Dr. Gonzalez grew up farming in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico. There, he helped his father raise cattle, corn, alfalfa, and orchards of apples, peaches, and pears. He returned to the United States in 1992 to attend college. Dr. Gonzalez and his wife, Leticia, have four vibrant children and enjoy playing golf and scuba diving.

Absolutely righteous vibes! Can not be happier with the staff and their work. I was terrified of dentist’s since I was a child due to them treating me like a dollar sign and not a human being. They are kind, gentle and caring to each individuals needs. I never thought I’d say that I am actually stoked for my next visit. I’ve been looking for a new dentist for quite sometime and I’m so excited I finally found San Antonio Smiles. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful, very professional, and it was just a great environment to be in. I started with a consultation to determine my concerns for my teeth and Dr.Justin Gonzalez was thorough in building me a customized plan to reach my goals. Love this place and dentists are not my favorite! Bad experience as child. This dentist and staff are great!! Had my teeth cleaned and No pain, very gentle!! If you try this office I know you will be very happy. This dentist really listens to you. He takes time with you to do it right. His staff is very helpful and friendly. Does great crown and filling work too. My smile looks good.
