Proper dental care is extremely important, not just for the sake of your teeth and gums, but also for your overall well-being. A healthy mouth full of attractive teeth and disease-free gums can boost your confidence and even reduce your risk for certain systemic conditions, like cardiovascular problems and diabetes. If it has been a while since your last dental checkup, we encourage you to make an appointment. Before you come in, though, we would like to take a moment to introduce your “dentist near me” at San Pedro Smiles.
The Doctor and Our Team
Dr. Justin Gonzalez leads the team at our practice, and he has a true passion for helping his patients enjoy healthy, attractive smiles. Along with his passion comes a great deal of skill and an impressive education. He graduated cum laude from Utah State College with his associate’s degree, and later he earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. His achievements continued into dental school, from which he graduated with honors. Today, he continues to devote a significant amount of time to furthering his education.
Helping Dr. Gonzalez to care for his patients, we have Yvette, our talented office manager; Lisa, a hygienist who has been in the dental field for 25 years; and Tania and Kristina, our two dental assistants.
Every person in our office is bilingual, so if you or anyone in your family is more comfortable speaking Spanish, you won’t have to worry about communication barriers getting in the way of your oral health.
We offer all the services you would expect from a general dentist in San Antonio, but we go above and beyond the basics. In addition to checkups, cleanings, and restorative services, we offer:
- Traditional braces are an effective way to straighten teeth, but they aren’t ideal for everybody. That’s why we also offer Invisalign, ClearCorrect, and FastBraces.
- Emergency dentistry. Not every dentist is willing to accept patients on an emergency basis, but we’re always ready to leap into action to help you deal with a dental disaster.
- TMJ therapy. Problems with the TMJ (the joint that joins your lower jaw to the rest of your skull) are all too common, and they can cause a significant amount of pain. Dr. Gonzalez can help correct these issues and relieve your discomfort.
