Fastbraces® - San Antonio, TX

Straighten Your Smile with Amazing Speed

If you have crooked or misaligned teeth, you’ve probably considered orthodontics. However, many people avoid undergoing treatment because of the lengthy process that can affect appearance and lifestyle. Thankfully, at San Pedro Smiles, we have an option that can straighten teeth much faster than traditional braces and Invisalign. We use Fastbraces as a way to give our patients the smile of their dreams in a fraction of the time. Read on to see how Dr. Justin J. Gonzalez makes this possible.

What Are Fastbraces?

The Fastbraces system uses patented triangular shaped brackets and flexible wires to align teeth with impressive speed. Traditional braces have square brackets, but the triangular design combined with flexible, elbow-shaped wires creates extra tipping and torqueing that leads to faster alignment of teeth. In total, this treatment will usually take about 20 weeks, which is much swifter than traditional braces that can take 2 years or more to complete.

The Benefits of Fastbraces

Dr. Gonzalez offers Fastbraces because this treatment provides his patients with a unique set of benefits, including:

The Fastbraces Process

Traditional braces can take around 2 years because the treatment is typically broken up into two stages: First, the crown is moved into the desired position, then your roots are given time to catch up. However, Fastbraces eliminates this problem by shifting the crown and roots simultaneously. After a consultation, Dr. Gonzalez will attach Fastbraces to your smile, and you’ll come into our office for routine checkups and adjustments. An added benefit of this treatment is that you won’t have to visit us as much as you would with traditional braces, saving you time and money.

Are You a Candidate for Fastbraces?

Candidates for Fastbraces will typically have mild to moderate misalignment with a desire to straighten their smile in less time. However, the only way to know if Fastbraces are right for you is to schedule a consultation with our office. Dr. Gonzalez will carefully examine your teeth and your bite before developing your personalized treatment plan. After, all that’s left for you to do is to choose when you want to get started with Fastbraces.
